Application Information for Creative Professionals

eligibility

  • Amble only accepts applications from individuals who are able to take this time off—whether having approval from employers or are self-employed.

  • Applicants must be able to fully step away from their regularly scheduled work and not have to meet any other professional and/or client obligations. This does not include personal projects—which are encouraged!

  • You must have 3+ years of professional experience.

  • Amble strongly encourages applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds, including racial, ethnic, and sexual/gender minorities who are often underrepresented in the outdoor and creative fields.

Selection process

  • Amble will review your application and portfolio to ensure you are the right fit for available creative projects.

  • If we feel your work is a good fit for the scoped projects, we’ll reach out to your provided references.

  • Final applicants will be selected on the basis of strength of portfolio and creative fit to the current needs of the community host.

  • We encourage you to apply again for future programs if you are not selected.

  • Amble will inform all applicants of the selection results by mid-August.
